Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the non-impact printer which is capable of printing the combined images of fixed information and variable information with a simple constitution by providing an exposure recording mechanism and an electrostatic recording mechanism in combination to a latent image forming mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of a photoreceptor 1 having photo semiconductivity is charged by a charger 2 and the latent images of the original picture 4 being fixed information are created by an exposure recording mechanism 3, following to which variable information is converted to dot matrix and static charges are charged by an electrostatic recording mechanism 5. The latent images of the fixed information and variable information having been synthesized on the photoreceptor 1 in this way are developed with a developing device 6, thence the toner images are transferred by a transfer device 7 on the paper 9 which is being moved in synchronization with the peripheral speed of the photoreceptor 1 by feed rollers 8a, 8b. On the other hand, the photoreceptor 1 having completed of transfer is destaticized by a destaticizer 11 and is cleaned by a cleaning device 12. In this way, the fixed information and variable information may be simultaneously synthesized and printed by the simple constitution.
