Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the blades of rotor for the uniform mixing of substances regardless of the kinds of substances by forming spirally the long blade of one rotor of a pair of parallelized rotors rotating reversely to each other and also by parallelizing the short blade of the other rotor at the center of rotor. CONSTITUTION:The rotors 2 and 3 have the long blade 4 and the short blade 5. The long blade is extended spirally along the central line of the rotor and also the short blade is formed in almost parallel with the central line of the rotor in such a way that the flowing direction along the rotor axle of substances to be mixed is in reverse direction against each of the rotors mutually. The method assures macroscopic and microscopic mixing operations to higher extent and thus is most suitable for the vulcanizer blending operation of rubber for hard tire, etc., in particular.
