Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform mixing of a toner excellently, by providing a fur brush where a number of flat brushes are arranged in zigzag at the circumference through bringing them into contact with a development sleeve opposingly. CONSTITUTION:A development sleeve 2 is provided in contact with a photore- ceptor 1 opposingly, a magnet 3 is provided in the sleeve 2 and a tank 5 accommodating a development agent 4 is located opposingly at the circumference. A doctor blade 6 to restrict the amount of toner on the sleeve 2 is provided, and a fur brush 7 in contact with the sleeve 2 opposingly is provided at the front stage of the blade 6. This fur brush 7 is located between the magnets 3 and a number of flat brushes 8 are located in zigzag on the circumference.
