Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a spiral tube having a good water-proof nature and less-liable to cause separation between tape layers by winding spirally the synthetic resin tape to which a solvent type adhesive has been applied, after evaporation of the solvent.
CONSTITUTION: When a synthetic resin made tape element; 1 and 1', is wound in spiral form, solvent contained adhesive is applied to the one side of the tape by means of a device for applying adhesive; 2 and 2' and after that the tape; 1 and 1' is heated by a heating device; 3 and 3' in such a way that the solvent inside the adhesive stuck in the tape; 1 and 1' is evaporated. After that, the tape; 1 and 1' applied with aforesaid adhesive is wound one or plural numbered mode to a mandrel 4 in spiral form continuously in such a way that the tape; 1 and 1' is jointed to both the applying surface and the no applying surface by means of the adhesive to form the spiral tube.
