Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a temperature change of a coil impedance and to obtain stable reference point which is easy to adjust by advancing and backing a reference-adjusting means with respect to opposing sensing coils.
CONSTITUTION: Sensing coils 1 and 2 are wound in ring-shaped grooves 21 and 23 provided at the portions adjacent to both ends of a rod-shaped bobbin 20 with insulating property. The bobbin 20 is inserted into a male screw tube 23 of a magnetic shield case and secured. A bobbin-end surface 20a on the coil-1 side is flush with a male-screw-tube end surface 23a, and a bobbin-end surface 20b on the coil-2 side is located inward from the male-screw-tube end surface 23b. A reference-point adjusting means 4 is provided outside the bobbin-end 20b, and a nut 19 is inserted into the male-screw tube end 23b. A screw rod 18, on which a disk-shaped metal piece 17 and a knob 25 are provided, is screwed to the nut 19. Since the sensing coils 1 and 2 and the reference-point adjusting means 4 are incorporated into the sensor as one body, both coils are kept at the same temperature and the adjustment is readily accomplished.
