USE:Antibacterial and bactericidal agent or their synthetic intermediates, being effective on both gram-positive and -negative bacteria and further on bacteria producing beta-lactamase and resisting cephalosporin. PREPARATION:The compound of formula II is made to react with a malonic derivative of formula III or its reactive derivative to produce the compound of formula I. The reaction is carried out in a solvent and, when necessary, a condensation agent, acid acceptor, and an organic base are added.
