CONSTITUTION:A root part of screw 15 provided in a rotor 1 is divided into an upper space 16a and a lower space 16b by means of a finishing blade 2 and a catalyst storing blade 3. When a fluid, which is a reactant to be catalyzed, is supplied into the upper space 16a under ordinary pressure, the suction action of this fluid occurs at the inlet side 5 as the rotor 1 rotates. As a result, the sectional area of the root part of screw 15 varies, and the fluid receives squeezing action at the outlet side 6.
