Abstract
PURPOSE:To cause the fluid to react effectively and sufficiently with the catalyst in the catalyst storing blade, by dividing the root part of screw of the rotor into upper and lower spaces by means of finishing blade and catalyst storing blade, and sucking and squeezing the fluid of the reactant to be catalyzed along with the rotation of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A root part of screw 15 provided in a rotor 1 is divided into an upper space 16a and a lower space 16b by means of a finishing blade 2 and a catalyst storing blade 3. When a fluid, which is a reactant to be catalyzed, is supplied into the upper space 16a under ordinary pressure, the suction action of this fluid occurs at the inlet side 5 as the rotor 1 rotates. As a result, the sectional area of the root part of screw 15 varies, and the fluid receives squeezing action at the outlet side 6. Hence, the fluid is drawn out through the catalyst storing blade 3, and the catalyst in the catalyst storing blade 3 and the fluid react with each other sufficiently and effectively.
