Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve transmitting efficiency of rotary driving device in which revolution of driving device is selectively transfered to 1st and 2nd rotary follower via idler, by increasing pressure between idler and each rotary follower.
CONSTITUTION: When a driving rotating unit 9 turns to the direction of a, a friction member 11 which rotates with a center shaft 10 of the rotating unit 9 as a fulcrum rotates to the same direction and an idler arm 12 in engagement with the friction member 11 follows in turning and puts an idler 4 to one of rotary follower 1 and the driving rotating unit 9 and rotates rotary follower 1 to the direction of A. While the idler 4 is pressed to rotary follower 1, the friction member 11 slides with the driving rotating unit 9. Then rotating power of the friction member 11 obtained by friction between the driving rotating unit 9 and the friction member 11 drives the idler 4 and becomes pressure to rotary follower 1, and thus power is surely transmitted to rotary follower.
