Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a flow rate calculating device, which can attain highly accurate presumed value as to the flow rate, by constructing the calulating device of a smapling counter, a judging device, a memory, a capacity changing rate calculator, an integrating and averaging device and an arithmetic device.
CONSTITUTION: The measured data obtainable from a level meter 1 are transmitted to a memory 5 each sampling time. A capacity changing rate calculator 8 calculates the measured level and the data stored in the mamory 5 thereby to determined the rate of change of the capacity. A judging device 6 generates an output when a preset change takes place in the measured data or in the water level. Then, the data obtained from a flow rate meter 2 are transmitted to a memory 9. The data as to the sampling times from a sample counter 7 for counting the change in the water level are transmitted to the memory 5 and an intergrating and averating device 10. This device integrates and averages the measured data as to the flow rate coming from the memory 9 sa that the calculations for determining the flow rate from the capacity changing rate and the integrated average value are accomplished.
