Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a dome-type speaker which is free from production of the noise and excellent in the sound quality by securing the vibrations in the normal line direction for the entire dome of the diaphragm which function as the driving source substantially and thus extending the directional fields of the sound to ensure a high- fidelity sound reproduction from the low range to the high range. CONSTITUTION:The central and fringe areas of dome parts 6b and 7b are magnetized in the different polarities, and a pair of permanent magnet plates 6 and 7 containing through-holes 6a and 7a are formed between the both poles. And diaphragm 5 containing dome part 5a, where spiral electric conductors 9a and 9b connected at the center part on both surfaces each are formed, is provided between plates 6 and 7. Then outer fringe support part 5c of edge part 5b at part 5a of diaphragm 5 is held and fixed between outer fringe support parts 6c and 7c of parts 6b and 7b of plates 6 and 7 via packings 8a and 8b. Thus the entire dome are vibrated in the normal line direction as the driving source substantially to produce a high- quality sound.
