Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain the discharge space of the title ozonizer uniform; improve the cooling effect; and enhance the ozonization efficiency by setting a wire net provided with protrusions in the space and by putting a good heat conductor into the space between the net and a grounded electrode.
CONSTITUTION: Metal platelike body 16 having many holes, e.g., a wire net is set in discharge space 3 formed between grounded electrode 2 and high voltage electrode 5 opposite to each other with dielectric 4 in-between so that body 16 is faced to dielectric 4. Body 16 is provided with protrusions to maintain space 3 between body 16 and dielectric 4 uniform. Good heat conductor 17 with elasticity, e.g. steel wool is put into the space between body 16 and electrode 2 to improve the cooling effect and to enhance the ozonization efficiency. The elasticity of the steel wool presses the wire net and shows the effect of maintaining the discharge space uniform.
