Abstract

PURPOSE: To grasp the mouth part of a glass container on a finish mold; reverse the container; and mount it onto a conveyor dead plate by actuating a cylinder provided with an outer gear engaging with a rack which can be reciprocated by a piston, and a specified structure incorporated into the cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: Piston shaft 8 is moved in the direction of arrow A, coupled rings 28, 29 and crank arms 15, 16 are driven, and claws 25, 26 are moved in the direction of arrow B to grasp the mouth part of glass product P. Next a piston cylinder device is worked to drive a rack, thereby rotating gear 3. Cylinder 2 unified with gear 3 rotates in the same direction, and shaft 8 also rotates through spline joint 15.
