Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the accuracy for the sweep discontinuing action by oscillating the signals of the differential frequency between the FMIF signal and AMIM signal to deliver the differential frquency signal between the signal and the FMIF signal and then discontinuing the sweep action when the differential frequency signal is delivered.
CONSTITUTION: Oscillator 4 is excited with the frequency equivalent to difference 10.25M Hz between the 10.7M Hz and 0.45M Hz IF signals of FMIF circuit 3 and AMIF circuit 13 respectively, and this output signal and the FMIF signal are mixed up at subtraction circuit 5. As a result, the same 0.45M Hz signal can be obtained from OR gate 6 at both the AM and FM receiving time. Thus, the presence or absence of the 0.45M Hz signal is monitored via gate 6, and the sweep action is discontinued 7 when the output exists. In this way, the accuracy can be increased for the sweep discontinuing action.
