Abstract

PURPOSE: To surely and smoothly mount a transformer block on a printed circuit board, by attaching a high-voltage transformer and electronic circuit elements for rectification to a relatively small printed circuit board in the transformer block and setting the transformer block on the former printed circuit board to which electronic control circuit elements are attached.
CONSTITUTION: The transformer block 11 and the electronic control circuit elements 9 are set on the printed circuit board 10 and soldered by immersion. The slodered members are inspected as a high-voltage power supply unit. The transformer block 11 is covered with a casing 21, which is shaped as a box and has ribs 20 for holding both the ends of the relatively small printed circuit board 20. The casing 21 is mounted on the printed circuit board 10 by screws 22 driven upward from the bottom of the printed circuit board 10. An insulating substance is filled down in the casing 21. A lid 23 is fitted on the top of the casing 21 by screws 24, thereby completing the high-voltage power supply unit.
