Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to perform neasurement of nocentration with high accuracy without being effected of the shaking of electrolytic solution and fluidity, by detecting the change in the refractive index of dilute sulfric acid through the use of prism. CONSTITUTION:The light at the light emitting section 1 arranged in fine distance for the light emitting elements 7 is incident to the parabola surface of the prism 2 and it is refractive, and the light emitting section 1 and the prism 2 are fixed for the position so that the incident angle to the liquid contact point 4 can be changed with the position of the light emitting element 7 illuminated, and the photo detection section 3 is fixed so the the reflection light of the solution contact point 4 is reflective with another parabola of the prism 2 and incident at thr photo detection section 3. Further, the elements of the light emitting section 1 are illuminated sequentially one by one, and the specific gravity of the dilute sulfric acid 5 is calculated with the microprocessor 10 from the location of the light emitting element in which the light amount of the photo detction section 3 is greatly changed.
