Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate heat conduction of a rotary anode for an X-ray tube without lowering the mechanical strength thereof by forming a hole at an anode target substrate and connector to thereby reduce the contacting area.
CONSTITUTION: The contacting area of a target substrate 11 with a rotary shaft 13 is reduced to connect therebetween by providing holes 15a, 16a and 14a at nut members 15, 16 and the hole 14 of the substrate 11, respectively for connecting the substrate 11 to the shaft 13. Thus, it can eliminate heat conduction from the substrate 11 to a rotor 12 while sufficiently retaining the mechanical connecting strength thereat.
