Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic vending machine operated efficiently at a low cost and simplified in construction by causing a heat sensitive paper sheet to be pressed by operation of a thermal head and press portion which are spaced from each other appropriately so that a transferring is temporarily atopped in the printing time. CONSTITUTION:A heat sensitive ticket 1 is constituted with a carrier 1a such as a paper having a heat-coloring layer 1b on its one face and a magnetic recording medium 1c on the its other face. A detector 12 for detecting the front end of the ticket 1 is attached to the entrance side of a transfer-belt 11 and this device includes a light emitting diode 13 and a photoelectric converting element 14. Furthermore, this device includes a thermal head 15 for information printing and a press pad 16 provided at a position opposed to the head 15, positioned in a midway of transferring way, to be connected to a rotary solenoid 17 for a power source 17. When the heat sensitive ticket 1 reaches the printing position, a transfer is temporarily suspended, and silders 18 and 18 are moved toward each other, and the heat sensitive ticket 1 is held by the thermal head 15 and press pad 16 mounted integrally.
