Abstract
PURPOSE: To operate only a printer for a printing recording layer so that the desired information may be printed efficiently and reliably by judging the sides of automatic tickets in accordance with the output difference read out of magnetic heads which are arranged at the both sides of the tickets having a magntic recording layer at its one side and a printing recording side at its other side.
CONSTITUTION: An automatic ticket 1 has a magnetic recording layer 1b at its one side of a substrate 1a and a printing recording layer 1c at tis other side. At the both side of the conveyor passage 11 of the ticket 1, there is arranged a printing unit 6 which is composed of magnetic heads 5a and 5b, printing devices 6a and 6b of heat sensitive type arranged in front and at the back of a punching unit 7, and pressure pads 13. Thus, the ticket 1 inserted in any direction of the both side and conveyed on the passage 11 is judged as to its magnetic recording layer 1b in accordance with the reproduced output difference between the heads 5a and 5b, and the printing recording layer 1c is indicated at the printing unit 6 so that the printing device 6a or 6a corresponding to the layer 1c is operated to print the layer 1c with the starting station and data.
