PURPOSE:To simplify the ON-OFF control process of a display unit and to reduce the process in volume by equipping a unit, which has a display function, with a series-input parallel-output shift register driving a corresponding signal driver. CONSTITUTION:Under the control of B-board driver ATTD, lamps L0-0 to L13-89 of respective B boards ATT0 to ATT13 flash. Further, series-input parallel-output shift registers SR0 to SR13 are provided corresponding to respective B boards ATT. Then, these registers have output terminals corresponding to respective lamps of B boards and respective output terminals are connected to lamp drivers DV0-0 to DV13-80 via AND gates AG0-0 to AG13-80 respectively, thereby controlling ON-OFF operation, i.e. flashing of corresponding lamps.
