CONSTITUTION: A mutant that belongs to Pseudomonas and has temperature sensibility and capability of producing L-serine from glycine, such as Pseudomonas rhodomethylofaciens (FERM-P4533), is cultured at a pH of 5W9, preferably under aerobic conditions and the L-serine accumulating in the culture medium is collected.
