Accordingly, the helical gear 6 of the pinion element 3 slides along the line of teeth, revolving against the helical gear 9 of the rack element 8 and the position of mutual engagement of helical gears is shifted to the direction of axis line, so the actual shift amount of the rack element 8 against the revolution amount of the pinion element 3 is reduced by the amount corresponding to the shift amount.
