CONSTITUTION:The input signal fed to the input terminal 1 is shaped with the current selection circuit consisting of the transistors TR7 and 8 and outputted to the output terminal 4 through the emitter follower consisting of TR10. Negative feedback is taken to this current selection circuit with the coupling capacitor 12 blocking DC and the resistors 13 and 14 determining the rate of feedback. Thus, the effect of AM versus PM conversion can be compensated and the amplitude limit unit excellent in the phase performance can be obtained with a simple circuit.
