Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction due to noise by using the integration circuit and the wave shape circuit in the infrared ray remote control reception circuit processing the signal in photo electric conversion with the infrared ray sensing element. CONSTITUTION:Infrared ray remote control signal is detected with the photo diode 1 and it is inputted to the noise rejection circuit 4 via the amplifier 2 and the detector 3. The capacitor 48 is charged up with the transistors 41 and 42 when remote control signal or noise is present and discharged when neither present. Since the pulse width of noise is narrower than the pulse width of signal, the data processing circuit 5 is not subject to the malfunction due to the effect of noise by suitably setting the threshold value of the wave shape circuit 9, to perform accurate operation.
