Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the thermal response properties of a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of a base of a vessel to be heated and contact with an outer base of the vessel to be heated, in this gas heater provided with a temperature controller consisting of the temperature sensor and an electric circuit.
CONSTITUTION: In this gas heater manufactured by disposing a temperature sensor 3 contacting with a vessel 6 to be heated and a heat shielding cylinder 4 surrounding the sensor 3 to a burner 2 portion, the temperature sensor 3 is formed in a shape that can be moved up and down. A guide shaft 11 is inserted into the inserting holes 10, 10' of a mount 9 fixed to a burner beam 7 of the heater by means of a screw 8 and slip-off is prevented by means of a split pin 12, and a spring 14 is installed between a guide shaft spring carrier 13 and the mount 9 to push up the guide shaft 11. Meanwhile, a heat sensing portion 15 is pushed up by means of a spring 17 between the portion 15 and a spring carrier 16, and the spring carrier 17 is hung by means of a pawl 19 of a lower portion of a spring cover 18. A thermocouple 21 is welded to the heat sensing portion 15 with a silver alloy 24, and the other end is connected to an electric circuit.
