Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve a heat transfer coefficient while eliminating heat loss due to convection, radiation, etc., by directly transmitting heat collected to a thermal medium by immediately mounting black fiber aggregates functioning as this solar heat collector into a passage of the thermal medium.
CONSTITUTION: When a passage of a thermal medium is tubular, black fiber aggregates 2 are filled in a tube 1 consisting of a transparent body of glass, synthetic fibers, etc. Heat collected to the black fiber aggregates 2 is transmitted to the thermal medium during the time when the thermal medium passes in the black fiber aggregates 2 or in a void of a center portion. This heat collector is formed in such a manner that a large number of heat collector elements 6 constituted in this manner are disposed between a thermal medium supply pipe 4 and a delivery pipe 5, and the assembled body is housed in a casing 3 lined with heat insulating materials. Activated carbon fiber aggregates are preferably used as said black fiber aggregates 2.
