Abstract

PURPOSE: To devise to measure the valve-operation discharge of a gas-cock with an overfolw-prevention valve correctly and to examine the quality for sure.
CONSTITUTION: This overflow-prevention valve 6 is constructed by equipping a valve seat part 5 in one body with a cylinder 6 containing a ball valve 3 to be vertically moved inside a gas passage 2 connecting between a gas-inlet and outlet of a gas-cock main body 1. Here, a governer, a valve, and a laminar flow meter are provided between the gas-cock Y to be tested and a pressure gas source. The instantaneous maximum discharge under operation is detected by the laminar flow meter. The detected differential pressure is conducted into a differential pressure sensor, and converted into an voltage signal by a pressure transmitter to be amplified in an amplifier. The amplified signal is transmitted to a digital panel meter after the pressure differential is converted into a discharge value by a computing circuit, and held to indicate the discharge of the peak value. The quality of the operation discharge is examined by values of the highest and the lowest limit which are set by introducing the signal into a digital setter in parallel with the above-said meter.
