Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the steps of method of forming a color picture tube fluorescent face and improve the productivity thereof by forming three color fluorescent layers through first and second color shadow masks and forming the third color fluorescent layer by the entire surface exposure from the outside of the panel.
CONSTITUTION: In order to expose light with coating film of green blue and red fluorescent slurry through a correcting lens, light amount correcting filter and shadow mask with porous portion, the first and second colors are exposed by the previous method, and the third color is entirely exposed from the panel outside without shadow mask. Thus, since it can partially omit its management such as positional relation of the respective color fluorescent layers, management of exposure light source, position and type of the collecting lens, position of the correcting filter, permeability, it can simplify the steps of the method of forming color picture tube and improve the productivity.
