Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the title glass member the layer of which has superior luster, weather resistance and adhesion durability by forming a coating layer of below a specified thickness made of fluoroolefin/cyclohexylvinyl ether (CHVE) copolymer on the surface of a glass member.
CONSTITUTION: This glass member is obtd. by forming a below 500μ thick coating layer of fluoroolefin/CHVE copolymer on the surface of a glass member. The layer has superior smoothness, luster, corrosion resistance, etc., and it can be colored freely and exhibits superior weather resistance and adhesion durability. C2F4 or C2Cl3F is pref. used as the fluoroolefin. The copolymer has a fluoroolefin to CHVE molar ratio of 30/70W70/30 and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.1W2g/dl in tetrahydrofuran at 30°C.
