Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the stabilized compound ratio control without applying the load to the gain attenuation property of the controlled amplifier and thus to secure the suitable application to the diversity reception by giving isolation between the function to obtain the optimum compound ratio and the function to make the level constant for the compound output. CONSTITUTION:Output signals 1a and 2a given from independent receivers are applied to variable gain amplifiers 11 and 12, and these output are added together at adder 5 to be drawn out from output terminal 3 via automatic gain control circuit 15. At the same time, a serial circuit consisting of amplifier 13, inversional circuit 6 and amplifier 14 is installed between amplifiers 11 and 12. On the other hand, control voltage 1b and 2b sent from independent receivers are applied to subtractor circuit 4 for subtraction, and this output is connected to the joint of amplifier 13 and circuit 6 forming a serial circuit. As a result, the linear relation is available for the gain to the gain control voltage of amplifiers 11 and 12, thus obtaining the optimum compound ratio over a wide range with no special property required.
