Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the production of crease in the bent part and make fabrication easy by fitting annular bodies to the outside of the tubular body packed with packings.
CONSTITUTION: Required packings 2 are packed in the tubular body 1 to be bent and covers are provided at both ends of the tubular body 1. Next, required number of annular bodies 3 are disposed with spacers in-between by leaving a specified spacing onto the bending part of the tubular body 1. The outside of the tubular bodies 3 are engaged to the pressing piece 8 and holding members 5, 5' of a bending machine and a hydraulic unit 6 is operated. Then, it forces out its operating shaft 7 to press the pressing piece 8 to the intermediate direction of the holding members 5, 5', thereby bending the tubular body 1 by way of the annular bodies 3 without producing any strain.
