Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a corrugated plate material to a waveform with compound dies and to prevent rupture owing to strains by pressing a flat between the roller groups which are alternately opposed from above and below, then pressing the same with compound dies.
CONSTITUTION: First, rollers 14 are mounted freely rotatably to a push block 11 and a cradle 12 via bearing 15. A plate material 13 is then placed on the cradle 12, and the block 11 is lowered, thereby pressing the material with the mutual rollers 14. Since the rollers 14 are freely rotatable at this time, the material 13 is corrrugated to a waveform without being restrained of elongation. Thence, the material 13 formed by the rollers 14 is placed between a plunger punch 16 of a compound corrugating shape and a receiving die, and is pressed, whereby the continuous corrugated product is obtained.
