Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the quality of sintered ore and also, to stabilize the operation of sintering machine, by controlling the temperature of exhaust air of wind box placed at a specified position of DL sintering machine in a fixed limites.
CONSTITUTION: Temperature of exhaust air of #27 highest exhaust air temperature wind box of DL sintering machine, is accurately correlated with that of #23 wind box before five minutes placed nearer side of the ignition lamp 4 than the above box. It is known that the quality of sintered ore is most superior when the highest temperature of #27 wind box is in the extent of 360W410°C. Accordingly, exhaust air temperature of #27 wind box after five minutes is made at 360W410°C and the operation is stabilized by setting up the exhaust air temperature at 200± 50°C and controlling the above temperature by measuring the exhaust air temperature. When the exhaust air temperature of #23 wind box is lowered at 150°C, velocity of the pallet 2 is delayed at 0.2m/min. and the velocity is returned to the original velocity when the temperature is returned to 175°C. Conversely, the velocity of the pallet 2 is quickened at 0.2m/min. when the exhaust air temperature is risen at 250°C. Thus, high quality sintered ore is manufactured stably.
