Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high purity of treated water by the procedure in which at the start-up period, condensed water is treated with a strongly acid cation exchange resin and then treated with a mixture of a strongly acid cation exchange resin and a strongly basic anion exchange resin, whereas at normal operation, it is treated with a cation exchange resin. CONSTITUTION:Condensed water coming into the first tower 1 through the incoming water quality monitoring device Mi and the valve 5 at the start-up time of boiler is passed through he H-type strongly acid cation exchange resin layer 2 to remove impurities present, then measured its water quality by the effluent water quality monitoring device Mc, then sent to the second tower 3 through the valve 6 to treat it with the mixed layer 4 consisting of a strongly acid cation exchange resin and a strongly basic anion exchange resin, and lastly discharged from the valve 7.
