Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the wear of wear preventing plates and tehreby to protect heating pipes by fixing to the heating pipes wear preventing plates of such a shape that falling dust will easily accumulate thereon.
CONSTITUTION: Each heating pipe 2 is provided with a dish-like wear preventing plate 4 through a wear preventing plate support 3, the plate 4 having such a shape that dust 5 will easily accumulate thereon. When a gas flow 8 entraining much dust flows, the dust 5 accumulates on top of the plates 4 in a mount-like shape. With the presence of the accumulated dust 5, the succeeding dust will fall downstream without directlyeroding the pipes 2 and the plates 4, so that the wear of the plates is prevented.
