Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent an automobile from skidding at the time of cornering, by fitting two hydraulic control valves solidly side by side, each being alloted to one brake system, and changing the state of balancing each valve spring at the time of cornering.
CONSTITUTION: When an automobile leans at the time of cornering, its external wheels undergo larger load than the internal ones and a cornering bar is shifted rightward to move a lever 27 toward a certain direction, for example, to the side of a plunger 10'. Then a spring 25 bends its axle shaft to the plunger 10 side. The force working on each plunger 10' is reduced smaller than that put on the plunger 10. The split point at each control valve 8, 9 makes the oil pressure on the internal wheels with less axial load lower than that on the external ones, and reduces the brake power to prevent the internal wheels from skidding.
