Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the reliability of the transmission line by giving the photoelectric conversion along with the amplification and waveform shaping to the light reflected by the half-mirror and the light reflected by the reflective mirror after passing through the half-mirror. CONSTITUTION:The light beams sent from optical fiber cable 1 are condensed through condenser lens 2 and then divided into light B to be reflected by half- mirror 3 of the dividing optical system and light A to be reflected by reflective mirror 4 after passing through mirror 3. The both light A and B are converted into the electric signals via photoelectric conversion diode 5 and then amplified and shaped into the desired waveform through amplifier/waveform shaping circuit 6. And thus the same signals are delivered at one time from output ends A and B. As a result, even if the fault occurs to either one light, the data can be transmitted via the other light system. Thus the reliability can be increased for the transmission line.
