Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain information of phase difference among multiple points thereby to make the detection of vibration modes easy by multiplying the signals of two points in a structure.
CONSTITUTION: The outputs of detectors 1 and 2 for acceleration, speed and variation are obtained as signals x1(t) and x2(t) through amplifiers 3 and 4 and filters 5 and 6. The positive and negative portions of the output signals are divided by a rectifier 8, and the divided areas of the signals are integrated at 9 and 10 thereby to determine a representative Ai of the positive signals and a representative Aj of the negative signals. The calculations of equation 1 are performed at 11 on the basis of the Ai and Aj obtained. As a result, it is judged at 12 whether the resultant value are closer to zero or π so that whether the two signals are in phase or out of phase.
