Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture ice cream coated with chocolate automatically, by means of a device comprising a primary conveyor for preparing ice cream and a secondary conveyor for surface treating the cream connected mechanically in parallel.
CONSTITUTION: The primary conveyor 1 comprises the molds 3 for preparing ice cream fixed by pins and revolved endlessly. The molds 3 are transferred in the brine bath 5 to prepare ice cream, which is separated from the molds 3 in the defrosting part 8, and transferred to the secondary conveyor 2. The cream is coated with liquid chocolate by a crosshead moving up and down in the coating part 9, then smoothed in the first and second neversion parts 10 and 11, and hardened in the nitriding part 12, and removed from the pins in the take-out part 13.
