Abstract

PURPOSE: To properly correct air fuel ratio continually, by mounting a by-path that a flow-rate control valve, which calculates the quantity of air corrected in response to the change of atmospheric pressure and is driven by the signals, is installed between an upper stream portion of a Venturi and a lower stream of a throttle valve.
CONSTITUTION: Air filtered by means of an air cleaner 1 passed through an intake system 2 and a by-path 4 and is supplied to an engine E. A pressure sensor 13 detects the pressure of an upper stream of a Venturi portion 2a, a pressure sensor 10 the negative pressure of the Venturi, a pressure sensor 12 the thrust of intake and a pressure sensor 11 atmospheric pressure. When atmospheric pressure changes, the optimum quantity of air corrected at that time is counted by means of a computing circuit 14 on the basis of pressure signals detected by means of each pressure sensor 10, 11, 12, 13, and an opening of a flow-rate control valve 9 is controlled by the output, thus appropriately correcting air fuel ratio all the time.
