Abstract
PURPOSE: To decrease the vibration of a runner, by disconnecting unstable flowing by mounting admission holes communicated with an outside admission source onto a flowing-water wall surface of a guide vane and by supplying air around the runner.
CONSTITUTION: Admission hole 2 are opened to a water surface wall at the runner side of a gide vane 1. The admission holes 2 are communicated with a high pressure air storage tank 5 through an admission passage 3. When it is necessary to interrupt load and input, a valve 4 is suddenly opened by signals from a valve control portion 6, and the air with high pressure of the air storage tank 5 is forcedly injected into a flow path from the admission holes 2, thus suppressing the unstable shaking of a flowing fluid, then decreasing the vabration of a runner and structure around the runner.
