Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an ink eraser kit which does not cause the degradation and yellowing of paper, composed of a first liquid containing hydrochloric acid and a second liquid containing an oxidizing agent which generates chlorine by reacting with hydrochloric acid.
CONSTITUTION: An ink eraser kit composed of a first liquid containing pref. 5W25 wt% of hydrochloric acid and a second liquid containing pref. 1W15 wt% of an oxidizing agent (e.g. a bichromate, a permanganate, etc.) which generates chlorine by reacting with hydrochloric acid. The liquids may contain an organic solvent such as alkylbenzene sulfonic acid, polyalkylene glycol alkyl ether, etc., to dissolve the oil component in the ink and to accelerate the chemical decomposition of the dye in the ink, or an solvent such as trichloroethylene, tetrachloroethylene, etc. to accelerate the dissolution of the oil component of the ink.
