Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an adhesive composition of rapid bonding, with high bond strength and good storage stability, and free from whitening in the periphery of adhesive joints, by incorporating a specific compound in α-cyanoacrylate.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating 100 parts by wt. of α-cyanoacrylate with 0.001W30 (pref. 0.01-5) parts by wt. of a compound of formula [R1 and R6 are each (un)substituted hydrocarbon residue; R2W5 are each H or (un)substituted hydrocarbon residue; n is an integer, ≥1], followed by mixing homogeneously.
