Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a foamed polystyrene machine having a special mechanism for supply of vapor or discharge of cooling water, and a good configuration, capable of simplifying a metallic mold attaching work by removing the complicated pipe line such as rubber horses and others from a metallic mold attaching frame for movable mold. CONSTITUTION:A tube assembly 3 for supplying a vapor and a tube assembly 3 for water discharge are provided in the upper and lower portion of a fixed board 2 mounted on one side of a base 1. A movable die plate 7 having a hollow chamber 6 and 6' provided in the upper and lower side frame portion is extractably mounted in a plurality of guide rods 5 extending over between the fixed board 2 and fixed die plate 4 to slidably insert a connection tubes 8 and 8' adjacent to the back face of the chamber 6 and 6' to the tube body 3 and 3'. Communication ports 9 and 9' are provided in the front of the chambers 6 and 6' and are communicated with a vapor distribution chamber 11 of a mold attaching frame 10 attached to the front of the movable die plate 7 and a discharge water receiving chamber 11 thereof.
