Abstract
PURPOSE: To highly accurately detect a sensor resistance without being influenced by the fluctuations in the power voltage by detecting the both end voltage of a variable resistor type sensor which is driven by a constant current.
CONSTITUTION: A variable resistor sensor 3 is driven by the constant current circuit 41 of a sensor circuit 4 without being influenced by the fluctuations in a power source 1 so that the voltage between the both terminals of the resistor proportional to the resistance can be detected highly accurately by the voltage detecting circuit 42 of the circuit 4. If the drive current of the circuit 41 is adjusted, the voltage value detected becomes so high that the construction of the circuit 42 can be simplified. If there is provided a comparator for comparing the detected voltage with the both end voltage of the capacitor to be driven and charged by the same constant current circuit thereby to constitute an A/D converter, then this converter can be easily adjusted in its resolution and simply connected with the control circuit.
