Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a method capable of economically manufacturing a fluidic circuit with high accuracy, by coupling two plates different in their thickness together by compressing them with application of heat and deforming one of the two plates having a smaller thickness by applying pressure between these two plates.
CONSTITUTION: Two plates 1, 2 superposed on each other are formed into a unitary plate 3 by way of compression in case that plates 1, 2 are made of metal, and by way of compression with heat in case that they are made of synthetic resin. Then, retainer jig 6 having circuit forming grooves 5 shaped to conform to the pattern of fluidic circuit to be formed in the plate 3 is placed on plate 1 of unitary plate 3 in tight contact with the same, and pressure is applied to the plate 1 by introducing water or oil under pressure into holes 4. Resultantly, the portions of plate 1 along the grooves 5 are separated from plate 2 and subjected to plastic deformation. That is, these portions are expanded into grooves 5 and urged onto the inner surface of grooves 5, and fluidic circuit 7 of a required pattern can be formed. Thereafter, retainer jig 6 is detached from plate 3. Thus, fluidic circuit plate 10, economical and having a high durability and reliability, can be obtained.
