And the comparison output becomes "0" in case VIN is lower then (1/2+1/4)VREF. After this, the selection is given to switches A, B and DS to have the comparison between VIN and VREF which increases by 1/2N sequentially. Thus the result of A/D conversion is obtained by the output of comparator COM or based on the final state of switch B. This constitution features a small loss of the charge distribution and high conversion velocity.
