Abstract

PURPOSE: To effect the simplification of structure and reduce the dispersion in coil winding numbers by superposing plural cylindrical printed substrates having different diameters, connecting the coil provided on the surface of respective substrate to each other, forming the primary and secondary coils and then coupling them electromagnetically at the lag of the magnetic core.
CONSTITUTION: Plural cylindrical printed substrate 10a, 10b and 10c having different diameters respectively are prepared, each of which has a coil 11 on its surface. Next, after superposing those cylindrical printed substrates in concentric form, lead portions 12 and 13 provided at the ends of coils are connected between their corresponding portions at inner and outersides through the soldering. Or the lead portions 13 are connected therebetween when it is required to connect the coils in series. In such a way, a primary coil 14 and secondary coil 15 are formed in combination and then fitted around the leg of a magnetic core 8. This enables to manufacture the coil for the fly-back transformer used in TV set with ease.
