Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent dripping when a valve is closed by providing at a position to shut a water passage a valve sheet of elastic material with a cut for flowing water.
CONSTITUTION: A flat valve sheet 1, made of elastic material and engraved with a cut 3 for flowing water, is provided so as to shut a water passage in a valve. When water pressure is exerted to the valve sheet 1 from a socket 4 side toward a nozzle 5 side, the configuration of the sheet 1 is changed against elasticity thereof and a pressed surface 2 is bended, and thereby, the cut 3 is opened. On the other hand, when the valve is closed and pressure in an upper chamber above the sheet is lowered, the sheet 1 returns to the original configuration and the cut 3 is closed, and thereby, leakage and dripping of remained water may be prevented.
