Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a burner apparatus, which comprises on-off valves arranged to water discharge pipes of water-oil separator tanks installed to a transportation line, the on-off valves being operated by water detector means, so that water present in oil will be collected, and automatically discharged to prevent unstabilized burning, buner trip, etc. of the burner apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A first oil-water separator tank 3 which will perform separation of water by gravity is arranged to a pipe 2 which is located upstream of a fuel oil pump 10, the first oil-water separator 3 has a water detector tank 4 attached thereto, and the water detector tank is provided with a water detection signalling apparatus 5. To the bottom of the first water-oil separator tank is attached a discharge pipe 17 having an on-off valve 6 and a pump 11 which will be actuated by the signal from the water detection signalling apparatus, and the discharge pipe 17 is connected with a compressor 8. Upstream of the fuel oil pump 10 of a pipe 11 is attached a strainer 9, and downstream thereof is provided with a second water-oil separator 10. The second water-oil separator is also provided with a water detector tank 4' and a water detection signalling apparatus 5' to carry out the processes similarly to the first water-oil separator tank.
