7.I The invention relates to devices for separating two unmixed liquids and can be applied in the chemical, petrochemical and other industries to separate the floating impurities from the waste liquid. The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of the separator. The drawing shows a vacuum separator for separating oil from a mixture of water with oil and air. The separator comprises a housing with a settling and oil collecting cavity I and 2 and air pipes 3 and 4, a pump 5, supply and discharge pipelines 6 and 7, controlling armature 8, sump well 9. The separator has a diverter tube 10, one end of which is connected to the air duct 3 and the other is buried in the vertical loop of the diverter duct 7 in its upstream section. The separator works as follows. When the pump 5 is operated in the inlet pipe 6 of the settling cavity 1, the oil collecting cavity 2, the exhaust pipe 7, the air pipes 3 and 4, a vacuum is created and the mixture of water and oil and air under atmospheric pressure from the inlet to the boat 9 flows through the supply pipe 6 to the settling cavity. The purified water after separation through the discharge pipe 7 enters the pump 5 and drains overboard the vessel. The air released from the mixture in the settling I and oil collecting 2 cavities is sucked through the air 13 pipeline 3 and the exhaust pipe 7 by pump 5. Due to the fact that the open end of the air pipe 3 is removed from the loop top, where the greatest vacuum is, and also due to the dynamic pressure of the oncoming flow of the moving fluid, the vacuum in the air pipe 3 and the oil-collecting cavity does not deepen and therefore, the level of liquid in the oil collecting cavity does not change. As the water flow through the separator increases, the flow rate in the upstream section of the loop increases, leading to a deepening of the vacuum, but at the same time J due to the increase in speed, the dynamic pressure increases, preventing the 1st vacuum from deepening in the air duct 3. this pipeline does not change, therefore, the level in the oil-collecting cavity does not change. A suspension of water / oil and air mixture accumulates in the oil collection chamber 2 and is periodically discharged into an oil tank (not shown) of the vessel. When the pump 5 is stopped, the air pipe 4 provides a breakdown of the siphon in the inlet pipe 6, which eliminates the possibility of a return drain from the settling cavity 1B receiving well 9. When air is taken from the receiving well 9, as well as when the pump 5 stops, the level of the oil collecting cavity 2 maintained at the level of the horizontal sections of the vertical loops of the inlet and outlet pipelines b and 7.
